SaaS Terms of Service

This agreement governs the use of the 4EDU platform and its services.

Effective Date: October 12, 2025

1. SaaS License Grant

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, 4EDU grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the 4EDU SaaS platform solely for your internal educational institution operations. This license is granted for the duration of your active subscription.

2. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the 4EDU platform is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except for scheduled maintenance and any unscheduled emergency maintenance. We will provide 24/7 live chat support for Enterprise plan clients and email support for all other users as outlined in our pricing plans.

3. Data Ownership and Security

  • Data Ownership: You retain all right, title, and interest in and to the data you upload or submit to the platform (“Client Data”). We do not own your data. We will not access, use, or disclose Client Data, except as necessary to provide the services or as required by law.
  • Data Protection: We employ industry-standard security measures, including data encryption, secure data centers, and access controls, to protect your Client Data from unauthorized access and disclosure. However, you acknowledge that no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the 4EDU platform to:

  • Upload or distribute any unlawful, defamatory, or harmful content.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Interfere with the platform’s performance or integrity.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform.

5. Maintenance and Support

  • Maintenance: We may perform scheduled maintenance on the platform which may require temporary downtime. We will provide notice of such maintenance whenever possible.
  • Support: We will provide support services according to your subscription plan. This includes assistance with platform functionality, technical issues, and billing inquiries.

6. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to treat all non-public information received from the other party as confidential and will not disclose it to any third party without prior written consent, except as required to fulfill obligations under this Agreement.

7. Warranties and Disclaimers

THE 4EDU PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.
